DAY 1 - BOLOGNA Arrival in Milan or Venice airport. Transfer to the hotel in Bologna. Welcome dinner. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 2 - BOLOGNA Breakfast. Guided tour of Bologna, discovering its Jewish soul through the arts and architectural beauties. You will pass through the narrow streets of the ghetto, today revitalized by artisans and small shops, and will visit the Jewish Museum situated in the prestigious Palazzo Pannolini. The visit continues in the new Jewish quarter and the synagogue. In late afternoon cooking class with traditional Jewish recipes and followed by a delicious home-made dinner in the comfortable and friendly environment. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 3 - NONANTOLA Breakfast. Transfer to Nonantola for a visit to the majestic Basilica Benedettina and the famous Villa Emma where over 100 young Jewish boys where hidden and saved during WWII. Visit to a famous "Acetaia" where the traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena is produced. Transfer to Modena and guided visit to the city, including the Cathedral, the artisans'shops, the ghetto, the synagogue, and the renowned Estense Library which features a collection of illuminated Jewish manuscripts. In Modena you will have the opportunity to visit the shops of ceramists and silversmiths who use traditional techniques. Dinner. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 4 - CARPI, SABBIONETA Breakfast. Transfer to Carpi. where a guided tour will be organised to visit the town, the Fossoli deportation camp (where also Primo Levi was imprisoned), and the interesting Monument to the Deportee. In the afternoon transfer to Sabbioneta whose 15th century Jewish community is famous worldwide for his banking history and for the printing presses (today Jewish printers still operate in Via della Stamperi.). The visit includes the synagogue and the Museum of Sacred Art known for its unique blue glass mezuzoth. On the way back to Bologna you will visit a caseificio, where Kosher Parmigiano Reggiano is produced. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 5 - FERRARA Breakfast. Transfer to the beautiful city of Ferrara, where you will experience the history of three centuries, strolling around the streets of the ex-ghetto, still intact in their original layout, and entering the synagogue and the museum. In Via Mazzini, which was the main street of the ghetto, you will see its perfectly preserved buildings. During the visit to Ferrara, you will stop also at the beautiful Estensi Castle. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 6 - MARANELLO Breakfast. Transfer to Maranello, for a visit to the well known Ferrari Museum. The rest of the morning will be spent with cooking class exploring nuances and historical elements of the local Jewish cuisine, a visit to the farmer's market and a tasting of Kosher Lambrusco at a winery. Farewell dinner. Overnight in Bologna.

DAY 7 - DEPARTURE Breakfast. Transfer to airport for departure. Arrivederci!
